What kind of people in our present time?

Godlessness in the last days

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

In the last days wickedness increases. Paul warned Timothy about the coming last days. Last days started after the resurrection of Jesus. In our times this is the last days. Many prophecies of Jesus Christ already fulfilled and it manifested in our time. peoplele are selfish, they don't care the needs of others. People work hard to earn more sacrificing their family because of money.Relationships are shaken. Some will do illegal activities just to earn money.

During my prayer time, i ask God what happen to our world now,our country, and our community and family. God talk to me in a still small voice. He leads me to 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and after I'm reading it it alarms me. Indeed God really talk to us through his Word. God is sovereign as His Word.

Children are disobedient to their parents. Rebellious spirits and not submissive to their commands. If these children will not obey their parents how can they obey and submit to God whom they don't see......Children are not the only to blame but also the parents of not having enuogh time.

Let's meditate the Word of God and ask God His instructions to us, what do we need to do to give change in our life, our family and our community and country as well.

Do Not Worry

Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

1. Life is more valuable than our needs.
2. We are the center of God's attention than the animals.
3. worry is not good to our health. Having no peace in mind makes unstable in our decision.
4. Worry diminishes our faith to God.
5. Our heavenly Father knows our need.

Philippians4:6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

"God's work done in God's way will never lack in God's supply."

Bible readings
Matthew 6:25-34
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifea]">[a]?

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Spiritual life

1. God's Purpose...Peace and Life

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life -- forever.

The Bible says::

  • Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace with God (Romans 5:1)
  • God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die (John 3:16).

Jesus said:

  • "I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest" (John 10:10).

Since God planned for us to have peace and real life right now, why are so many people hurting or angry inside?

2. Our Problem...Separation From God

God created us in His own image so we can know Him personally and have a joy-filled life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and a freedom of choice. Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God and ends in misery.

The Bible says:

  • All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's holiness (Romans 3:23).
  • The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God's gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

The Bible says that disobeying God results in being separated from Him.

Our attempts can never unite us with God. Through the ages, people have tried many ways to bridge this gap and reach God -- without success.

The Bible says:

  • Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die (Romans 5:12).
  • You may think you are on the right road and still end up dead (Proverbs 14:12).

There is only one way to reach God.

3. God's Remedy...The Cross

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. He died on the Cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and people.

The Bible says:

  • There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God (1 Timothy 2:5).
  • Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God
    (1 Peter 3:18).
  • But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful (Romans 5:8).

God has provided the only way -- we must make the choice.

4. Our Response...Give Ourselves to Christ

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and determine to obey Him for the rest of our lives. That way we can know God and find peace again.

The Bible says:

  • So you will be saved, if you honestly say, Jesus is Lord, and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this (Romans 10:9-10).

Is there any good reason why you cannot turn your life over to Jesus Christ right now?

How to give your life to Christ:

1. Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness.

2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

3. Through prayer, confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him for the rest of your life.

An Incomplete Appointment of Man

Hebrews 9:27
NIV-Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
KJV-And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
NAB- Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment,

Each man can have an appointement to anybody here while he is still alive. Before that appointment it requires preparation, It could be a business appointment, appointment to your jod, client, friend or love ones. The only appoinement a man could not prepare is his appointment to death. He dont know the time ,the place and the way he died. Many of the Filipinos died everyday especially this time due to the flood ondoy. But the question is are they ready to face the judgement of God. When aperson dies he will face judgemnt. There are only two place where a person can go its either heaven and hell. Of all appointments this is the most dangerous because it has no time date and place! Think of it. The best thing for you to do is to give your life to Jesus because He is our judge.

No Sin

Whoever abides in Him does not sin,
Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
1john 4:16

The bible makes two things clear about sin. First, living a lifestyle of sin indicates that you are not walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, regardless of what you say about your spiritual condition. You cannot regularly spend time studying and meditating on God's Word and walking in fellowship with the Holy Spirit , and persist in sin.

Second, if you do not hate sin the way God's does then you do not truly know Him. There are those who continue in their sin yet insist that they love and belong to Him. John makes it clear: if you have a lifestyle of sin you have not seen Him and do not know Him. You nay have prayed a sinners prayer, or made a commitment in your church, or been baptized, but the evidence of the Holy Spirit presence in your life is that you are defeating sin. This does not mean that you will never sin, but it does mean that you refuse to make sin a lifestyle and you immediately seek forgiveness when you sin (1John1:10). It means that you are oppose to sin ,as God is, and you allow the Holy Spirit to eradicate every trace of sin in your life. It means that when you sin you immediately confess it and repent of it and do whatever is necessary to avoid repeating your sin.
If you find yourself falling into a sinful habits or not grieving over your sin as you once did, this indicates that you are not abiding in Christ. Return to Him in repentance; restore your fellowship with Him; and you will once again experience victory over your sin.

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in Him.
